Monthly Music (and Update): September

Oh my goodness! It has been way too long since I’ve last write in a blog post. I mean, there was a lot going on this past month. I moved into my apartment, I was still adjusting to working full-time, and there was just so many different items on my list that I had to take care of that I didn’t make the time to sit down and explain what was going on. But, I guess you guys don’t mind.

I’m sorry for not having made an August playlist, but I just honestly didn’t feel like it – I didn’t have any substantial finds that I really wanted to share with the world…until the very last few days in August, so I’m saving them for now.

During the last month and a half or so, I had an extremely bad sinus infection so that added to the misery that I was facing during this move, and I think that my stress levels had also impacted the sinus infection. To be honest, I’m not quite sure what I’m sharing all of this information because I don’t think you guys care that much, and I’m not trying to create excuses, but this is what had happened.

But while all of this was going on, music with still there for me. So thank you Spotify!

I’ve been listening to so many different genres recently that it’s super hard to make this playlist that is listed below.  I just feel that I really should be curating playlist that are integrated throughout whether it be the same genre of a specific baseline or happy melody, but I just am not able to single any of the songs out!  These songs helped me through the move, assisted in letting all of my frustration out, and have powered my workouts (but mostly the latter). Not only am I grateful to Spotify who have introduced me to some of these songs, but my sister as well with her guidance to give Lake Street Drive a listen.

How were your summers?  What music have you been listening to that have been positively impacting your lives?
